David Ortiz is having a great year. Not only was the Boston Redsox slugger the World Series MVP, but he just signed a deal to become a TV producer. According to the Associated Press, Big Papi will be the executive producer of a weekly series on MTV. Major League Baseball reports that MTV first showed interest in David when a Fan Cave video showed the baseball player walking around New York City asking Yankees fans for hugs. Pittsburgh Pirates center fielder Andrew McCutchen will also be producing the project.
