Evelyn Lozada is ready to set the record straight in the season premiere of Basketball Wives. The reality TV star dishes on what really happened during her domestic violence incident with ex-husband and former NFL star Chad Johnson. “To make a long story short, found out that Chad was cheating on me, I found a condom rapper in the car, and we got into an argument. I asked him about the rapper, and we ended up in a physical altercation.” Wanting to move on from the short lived marriage to Johnson, Lozada feels that she’s been wrongly judged. “I felt like everybody blamed me for him being let go from the team, by saying that I ruined his career, and it was hard for me because I know that I didn’t do anything wrong that day.” Evelyn’s road to recovery can be seen on the season 5 premiere of Basketball Wives Monday, August 19th on VH1.
